The proposed Suburban Rail Loop for Melbourne has moves a step forward with the release of the Environmental Effects Statement (EES) which is available digitally at Suburban Rail Loop East website.

EngageVictoria are inviting submissions
The Inquiry and Advisory Committee (IAC) invite submissions on the EES and draft Planning Scheme Amendment for the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East Project.
The EES and draft Planning Scheme Amendment is open for public exhibition from Friday, 5 November to 11.59pm on Thursday, 16 December 2021. Planning Panels Victoria is collecting submissions during this time.
To make a submission you must lodge it using the submission form at Engage Victoria.
WATAG was selected to be part of the Suburban Rail Loop Authority’s Precinct Reference Panel for Box Hill. We will be strongly putting the case for closely integrating the many related projects affecting Box Hill to ensure the best and most connected active transport outcomes.

WATAG is also vitally interested in the SRL proposal for the new Burwood Station and ensuring the highest levels of convenience and connectivity are achieved for active transport users.
