A Spring Festival to remember

The Whitehorse Spring Festival for 2022 was a welcome return to being able to engage with the Whitehorse Community in a casual and festive way – after two years of cancellation due to Covid.

Despite there being new organising team at Council, a new venue at Tunstall Park (due to the Whitehorse Arts Centre development), and the chance of rainy weather spoiling the day, it was an outstanding success.

The rain stayed away, and there were many thousands of visitors. The WATAG stand attracted quite a lot of attention.

Of particular interest was the poster about the WATAG petition saying that “Crossing Blackburn Rd should be Safe” . Many people signed – but we need LOTS more!

CONGRATULATIONS TO all who organised and participated in the Festival.
